Checkmate Skimate II

1978 Checkmate Skimate II with 1981 galvanized EzLoader trailer in better than new condition. Both in storage since 1985. I saved both for my grandson and started a restoration. Grandson is in Australia and not returning to the US. This is a great ski boat but I am now too old to use it.

Checkmate hull is in very good condition and stripped almost ready to paint, reinforced transom, custom baffled 33 gallon aluminum gas tank and center mount stainless ski tow post. Needs interior wood work and upholstery, new motor, steering and paint. I have all the original hardware including seats, side panels, rub and grab rails, Bennett trim tabs, Danforth anchor and stainless bracket, new bilge pump, new compass and many other new parts. She used to do 80 mph with a 200hp Mercury.

The trailer was lightly used for only 4 years. It is in better than new condition and has recently been extensively upgraded. This trailer has aluminum fenders and brackets, a solid axle, bearing buddies, all new u-bolts and roller bushings, mag wheels, new tires, new running lights and a 12 volt winch with new cable and new switch.
