Noles LTV

This is a 1987 Noles NFZ LTV 18' boat with a 1989 200HP Mercury Outboard. This was molded off of a Laser LTV Modified Tunnel V, so it has the same shape and characteristics of the Summerford-built LTV.

These hulls are air-entrapment hulls that feel great when going at and above planing speed. They ride flat on the water and feel very light when planing. These also turn great, very flat and tight turns. They handle extremely well and excel in smooth water. They handle rough water OK, but it is a bumpier ride similar to a jet-ski or waverunner.

The Mercury outboard starts right up with no issues. It revs well and sounds healthy.

The boat has the following:
-Bob's Machine Hydraulic Jackplate
-No-Feedback Dual Cable Steering
-Full length black bimini top with 2 mounting positions
-Full working set of green backlit Gauges
-Hot foot throttle (painted to match)
-Victor Dino steering wheel with blinker switches for trim and jackplate
-Billet shifter
-Fusion MS-IP600 radio with wired remote next to driver (has waterproof internal iPod dock)
-Set of 4 Bazooka speakers with 2 JL Audio Tweeters
-Green Controllable LED interior lights throughout boat gunwales and on motor cowling (can be remote controlled and has multiple blinking - scanning modes)
-Dual brightness white LED courtesy lights throughout interior
-Remote control removable suction mount LED docking light
-Freshly reupholstered seat cushions
-25 gallon aluminum fuel tank with magnetic fuel level sender
-Dual batteries on a switch
-Push button start and safety-stop with hidden ignition key


1989 200HP carbureted Mercury outboard with the following:
-ORIGINAL Mercury CLE (Crescent Lower Unit) (the performance low water pickup unit that lets you run the outboard high with the jackplate)
-Carbureted powerhead
-Oil pump block-off, runs on pre-mixed fuel and oil
-ORIGINAL Race - Alien cowling (hard to find!)
-All-around light mounted on cowling (removable, an included pole light can be used on the deck mounted fitting)
-26 Pitch Mercury Chopper prop


The boat sits on a Boatmaster aluminum trailer, with:
-Torsion axle suspension
-LED side marker and tail - brake lights
-LED side markers on fenders
-Swing-up wheeled trailer jack
-Tires with 90% tread-life left

There will be some spare parts to go with the boat, including a brand new switch box - power pack for the motor.

The entire interior floor is green dyed bed-liner. It has Hydro-Turf in the center as well.

Right before I bought it, about 5 years ago, I was informed that the hull was redone. Stringers were replaced and transom was redone. This was also when it was painted with green bed-liner.

Tilt ram will need a rebuild soon as it slowly loses position when all the way up. Trim rams hold just fine.


The boat is not perfect, but it is solid and looks good for its age. There are the usual spider cracks in some areas, but nothing major and everything works as it should without any issues. It is a turn-key boat.
