Monterey 298SC

Selling our 298 Sport Cruiser Monterey (32 ft). We have owed this boat for a year and love it but have decided to buy a center console as we have plans to move to the oceanside and do some fishing. Boat is in excellent shape inside and out, had it wrapped when we first got it for two reasons, one to protect the gel coat underneath and two I like black flake and have a friend that does wraps. That being said the red gelcoat underneath is in good shape and the boat looks great in either color or whatever color you want to make it! Interior is a 8 out of 10. Shows a few places where a stitch is starting to stretch here and there but no rips, holes to speak of or fading and cracking. Underneath is virtually like new. Has had very little use and it shows. Everything works except the small TV as we disconnected it. Vacu-flush toilet with macerator, shower, hot water tank, microwave, electric burner and of course AC! The Kohler generator starts at the touch of a switch and runs the entire boat and is very quiet. Has two refrigerators, the one down below works great, the one up top does not. I have never looked into it so I'm not sure of the reason. Boat has a nice stereo system operable from 3 locations on the boat and the speakers are Wet Sounds which light up at night. All of the gauges and lighting work excellent and it also has three blue L.E.D. underwater lights in the rear (very bright). On to the mechanical......boat has twin 350 H.O. EFI engines rated at 300 HP each 491 Hours on each motor. It has an open cooling system and they are attached to Mercruiser Bravo Three Drives with Dual Props. Boat weighs 9000 LBS empty and full of fuel and passengers easily planes quick and cruises at 40 mph effortlessly. Top speed depending on load and fuel is @ 52 mph. We spend most of our time putting around from one swimming hole to the next and floating with others. As far as maintenance I have had both engines serviced in March 2017, this included oil, filters (all) full generator service including impeller, new impellers both engines, pulled both drives to check couplers (excellent) and during that inspection installed new bellows and shift cables. Transom seals are excellent and the boat does not take on water. I also installed a new fresh water pump for the internal fresh water system. Boat has Gaffrig throttle and shift controls and operate very smooth. Boat has double bimini tops as well as a full canvas cover and comes on a 2013 McClain all aluminum trailer with brand new custom wheels and load range d radial tires. Trailer has all Vault bearings which are sealed and require no maintenance for the life of the trailer! This boat has so many options it's hard to remember and list them all.
