Description
1959 Holmes 16' Mahogany run about in excellent condition. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska. Trailer is in fair condition and operational with new tires very road worthy. The engine is a 1960 Mercury 700 in running condition but needs a tune-up and some TLC. This engine is the famed 70 HP "dock buster" with no neutral. If you require neutral, included in the pricing of this classic boat is low hour 1962 Merc 700 and controls with neutral. The spare motor is in good shape with a sandblasted amp primed lower end. The cowling and all other head units have the original 1962 paint. The spare motor will need a complete tune up to be sea or lake worthy. If interested, call for a complete history of the boat since I purchased it in 2009.
