Motor Life Boat 36

This is a very well maintained retired US Coast Guard 36' MLB.
Extensive restoration and maintenance performed over last 2 years. Above waterline all soft wood cut out, restored, sealed, seams re-compounded, primed and painted. Below the waterline, all seams were reefed, repacked with cotton and re-compounded. 3 coats of underwater anti fouling paint. Above the gunwale all new compound, sealant, prime and paint. The previous owner professionally added a cabin and pilot house which includes head, galley, bunks, seating and many extras, conveniences and systems. Single inboard 1958 diesel 4 cylinder engine runs like a top. Two 60 gallon interconnected stainless fuel tanks, hydraulic steering from original helm wheel, air horn with air compressor, gps - nav system with new vhf radio and electronic compass. In the engine room: brand new starter motor, stripping pump for fluid change, installed trash pump and two bilge pumps, refrigeration unit, shelves, storage and all tools needed for upkeep. In the galley: table for 4 folds down to twin bed, two burner stove, sink fed by hot and cold water tanks, fridge and freezer. Under the bench seats are two new huge batteries, and toilet treatment system for overboard discharge. No sewage holding tank needed. Closet and drawers, access to all bilges and another bilge pump. In the head: toilet and sink with hot and cold water. Forward are two bunks big enough for a full size adult and a diesel space heater, a frame skylight with hinged windows and screen, another bilge pump and access and the anchor locker. In the winch room is the anchor control machinery and the hatch to the top deck. There's more. Come and take a look and a ride.
