Magnum Bestia Sports Cruiser
Description
This a 'For Sale by Owner' yacht. The original owner is a surgeon, all maintenance records available.
Only 13 of these hulls were built. The boat is in like new - turn-key condition with all new upholstery, props and surface drives completely refurbished in 2012.
The boat is currently in Miami, FL at Magnum Marine, where it was built. It is in for a complete factory check-up.
The reason for sale is the owner purchased a new '60 yacht. This is his 2nd boat. Asking $575,000, which is FIRM. This boat has been perfectly maintained both in and out.
The Beast is characterized by her tremendous speed 72 mph, acceleration and brute power 2,700 hp.
The Magnum 50 is a narrow beam, deep-v, very heavy hull, generally equipped with twin Detroit - MTU diesels of 1350 HP each coupled to Arneson surface drives. Total HP on this boat is 2,700. The top speed can reach up to 72 MPH. Very impressive is her unbelievable seaworthiness in all weather conditions. She slices through the waves and can safely and comfortably make long crossings in rough seas, while large yachts remain in port.
The Magnum 50 has appx. 7 headroom and boasts a comfortable double cabin with Queen sized berth and plenty of closet space, a large head with stall shower, a salon, galley and crew cabin. The cockpit, with bolster helm and companion seats also features an L-shaped side and transom seat and sundeck.
Original cost was $1.6 million in 1999. Replacement cost is now $2.2 million, assuming you could get one built. I believe the production lines are shut down currently.
