Monk Double Cabin

Snap Decision is a 1984 36' Monk double cabin trawler. She offers a single Perkins 135 HP main engine, Signeer 3,000 watt inverter/charger, two Renogy 100 watt solar panels, Vetus bowthruster,Ardic diesel fired heating system, Polar Bay reverse cycle air conditioning/heating system, AIS, Achilles HB-275 RIB tender with a Mercury Avator 20e electric outboard and a 2 stateroom 2 head layout. Snap Decision has a 16'6" height above the waterline with the mast up and an attainable 12'6" height with the mast and bimini lowered and she is a Great Loop veteran. She is stored on the hard in Marathon, FL for hurricane season, but she is accessible for inspection.

From the teak swimplatform, you enter the aftdeck via the transom gate and step up either aft side of the trunk cabin to the bimini covered flybridge or walk forward to the interior or foredeck on either same level side deck. Entering the salon via the port side deck access door, you will find the master stateroom companionway port aft, L-shaped seating with storage and a double pedestal folding hi/lo table port forward, galley starboard aft, lower helm and side deck access door starboard forward and the guest stateroom companionway forward. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.

The headroom in the salon is 6'5", 6'4" on the flybridge, 6'7" in the guest stateroom and 6'4" in the master stateroom and shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'6" long and the guest stateroom berths are 6'5" long.

The height from the waterline to the top of the mast is 16'6" and 12'6" to the top of the flybridge windscreen.
