Metal Craft Marine Firestorm 50 Fireboat 50

2007 Metal Craft Marine (MCM) 50' Firestorm fireboat for sale with twin Caterpillar C-18 engines 885HP each, ZF Transmissions and Hamilton Jets. The Port CAT engine has 2194 hrs since it was rebuilt with new sleeves, pistons, rings, bearings, and new head assembly. The STBD engine has less than 10 hrs since being replaced. The long block was bought brand new from Kelly Tractor. A new complete head assembly was also installed during the engine replacement. The STBD engine, with the exception of auxiliary external parts, is brand new and purchased directly from CAT. The vessel has 2 X 3,000 GPM fire pumps but flow in excess of 8,500 GPM's as tested. The total hours of the vessel since new is 12,194 hours of use over the 17 years the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue has owned the vessel. The unit is used and may have damage, defects, or problems that are not immediately detectable. Customers are NOT allowed to sea-trial the vessel and - or turn-on anything on the vessel during physical inspection. Miami-Dade County strongly recommended the physical inspection of this item. The preferred time for inspection is Tuesday through Friday 6:00AM through 2:00 PM with an appointment.
