1976 Glastron Carlson, CV23 "Agent Orange" Ford 460, Berkeley JE Jet Drive, Place Diverter - manual, Orange Metal Flake - Beige color combo. The previous owner had owned the boat since 1993. The boat has been out of the water and in inside storage since 2014. The floor is solid with no soft spots. They replaced the Orange shag carpet with tan marine carpet. (orange shag still in the cuddy along with the white fur headliner). Below the rub railis the original gel coat, above the rub rail has been clear coated. Overall the boat looks very good, in above-average condition. The Interior is original as well. Faded, but still soft. Two seams have split. The rear hatch hold-down straps are missing. The Cuddy's interior is in excellent condition. All lights work running, anchor, interior & dash. Also, have the original stern light pole. I was told that the engine was rebuilt in 2012-13. I pulled the engine, replaced the oil pump, and oil pump shaft & put a marine oil pan with the baffle. When the engine was out I pulled a couple of main bearing and rod bearing caps. All bearings look brand new. Pistons look like new, clean as the day they were installed. From my visual inspection, I would say the previous owner was truthful stating the engine had very, very low hours. Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 780 CFM carb (over carbed in my opinion) I installed a New Pertronix Flamethrower distributor and matching coil. All new water lines, Engine runs perfectly! Berkeley JET pump with a manual Place Diverter and a SE-type loader grate. I just installed a New "A" cut Impeller, wear ring, insulator, bowl seal, bowl gasket, and gear oil in the bowl. I also replaced the original fuel, temp, oil & volt gauges as some of the needles had fallen off. (I have the originals). Overall this is an above-average original example of a classic Carlson CV23! All lights work on the trailer, tires, and bearings are good, it made a 1600-mile trip in February. I bought this boat with the intent of running it until my CVX-20 project is completed.
