A beautiful no renovations required 40 Novi flybridge trawler (commercial lobster boat made in Antigonish Nova Scotia Canada) with only 1,000 hours on her 6 cyl 380 HP Yanmar diesel.( 6LY2A-STP). This is a true Downeast boat, with a large bronze single screw (dripless shaft seal), full keel and barn door rudder (bow thruster too). She has twin 125-gallon diesel tanks and holds 150 gallons of fresh water. Her beam is 13 and a draft of 46 (air draft 23).

Stay on the hook for days (425 hours on the Northern lights 5 Kw 3 cyl. diesel generator) if you like. She has a full-size shower in the head. Queen size bed in the stateroom with storage under and two large storage cabinets, and if needed the galley table drops down and makes a berth as well. 2 burner electric cook top, AC & heat, fridge - freezer, microwave and all LED lighting.

Recently this vessel has had many professionally installed upgrades, including two new start and house (firefly AGM, group 31) battery banks, a Victron 3000W inverter - charger, 400 W of solar panels and associated Victron MPPT solar controller and battery monitor. A new Vesper Cortex VHF - AIS system with handhelds at both helm stations. Her large flybridge can be fully enclosed (new Strata glass up front) with a captains and a bench seat with storage under and fender holders.

As for electronics, the lower helm has Furuno Radar, chart plotter, sounder and a Vesper redundant Furuno VHF radio. The upper helm, along with the Furuno Radar, chart plotter, sounder has a Garmin chart plotter and a PC - tablet with GPS running: Open captain, Navionics, Aqua map, and other cruise handy aps. (active captain, weather radar, tides - current etc.)

This boat has been highly maintained on schedule with all specified fluids, filters, impellers, hoses, and belt changes by professional marine mechanics.

The boat has four 12 cleats down both port and starboard sides and full set of fenders and dock lines to secure her in any docking or mooring situation. A bow and lower helm operated windless with 40 chain plus 200 rode with a Fortress anchor for great holding power. Lastly, a swinging boom with block for hauling aboard your tuna or safely lifting your tenders outboard to the cockpit bracket. There is a stern mounted boarding ladder for divers and 7 rod holders for fishing.
