Formula 260 SS

New to the market this very well maintained, one owner 2005 Formula 260 Sun Sport is available as the owner has moved up to a larger Formula.
This 2005 Formula 260 SS is a one owner boat, initially trailer stored and shrink wrap kept in the winter while she was used in New Hampshire. In September 2019 the boat was relocated to her Florida home where she has been lift kept under a covered awning since then.

In 2011 due to a winterization issue, the engine was replaced with a brand new zero hour Mercury Seacore 377Mag - 6.2L engine with fresh water flush. Since the engine replacement the new engine has approximately 600 hours of run time with the original engine hour meter showing 1,143 hours as of 02 - 22 - 2022. In 2019 as a matter of service the engine raw water pump was replaced and the Bravo Three DuoProp Outdrive was completely rebuilt including upper and lower gearsets and the Gimbal Bearing. The engine is fresh water cooled and in addition to the raw water cooling thru the Outdrive, there is a seacock with sea strainer providing raw water cooling direct to the engine.

This boat has a full canvas cover, extended bimini with full eisenglass enclosure for the cockpit in excellent condition, a screen enclosure for the companionway door and the cockpit carpet was renewed three years ago. The cockpit stereo speakers have been recently replaced. All of the cockpit lockers and engine compartment are very clean. There is plenty of storage under the cockpit seating areas, the aft cockpit seating area has a cocktail table which converts to a sunpad.

This Formula 260SS was ordered new by her owner with the optional extended swim platform with telescoping swim ladder, transom shower, and remote stereo operation at the transom.

The engine compartment houses the potable water pump with accumulator tank and two batteries that are two years old. The batteries are charged and maintained by a ProMariner Pro Sport 12 Battery charger and conditioner. A - C service for the Charger is provided by a 15A plug located in the port cockpit locker.

The helm area is well equipped with the standard oil, temp, tachometer and speed gauges, single lever engine control, dedicated depth sounder, gas fume detector, Clarion XMD3 stereo which is Sirius - XM Satellite ready and a Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 64cv GPS, ChartPlotter with PreLoaded Bluechart g3 United States charts with integrated Navionics data and Garmin CHIRP Sonar. There is a dual folding helm seat configuration.

The cabin area on the Formula 260 SS is in excellent condition with port and starboard opening portlights and two overhead Hatches with screens providing a well ventilated cabin area along with protection from outside nuisances. The companionway door also has a full screen enclosure. There is a beautifully varnished table for dining which converts to a full beam berth. There is an abundance of storage under the seating areas and a discreetly placed Jabsco manual head with an inline filter minimizing odor.

The ground tackle consists of a Danforth anchor with 20 feet of chain and 150 feet of rode. The boat has all necessary fenders and dock lines, USCG conforming fire extinguisher in the cockpit locker properly mounted and readily accessible along with a fixed fire suppression system for the engine compartment.

The boat has a compliment of spare parts including oil and oil filter for your next service. An additional item included but not installed is a Mercury Mercruiser Vessel View Mobile Kit. This kit will display your engine SmartCraft digital data on your phone or tablet. Possible views from this system are fault code diagnostic info, fuel flow, water temp, oil and water pressures, battery voltage, RPM, etc. Also included is a Prop Nut tool.
