Twin diesel's. Rebuilt Detroit 6v-53N diesels (about 425 hrs, very economical).
These engines are bullet proof, and fresh water cooled.
Detroit diesel engines were used in numerous military vessels, fire engines, buses....
THE FOLLOWING HAVE BEEN REPLACED...
Exhaust (stainless steel - fiberglass)
Fuel tanks (Plate Aluminum)
Racor filters
Strainers (oversized)
Shafts (stainless)
Strut bearings
Re-propped (four bladed)
No generator or air conditioning.
