1972 Chris Craft Catalina. It is 28' long with a 10'6" beam.
The boat is powered by twin Chris Craft Chevy small blocks which were the same engine setup as Riva's from that period. Everything on the engines and drive-train is new or refurbished. The props are new nibral 3 blade with new shafts and Packless Sealing System. The fuel system has been upgraded to electronic fuel pumps with new carbs, distributor, wires, etc.
This boat has a hand-laid fiberglass hull up to the rub rail, from the rub rail up the boat was constructed out of mahogany. During the restoration process the decks, which were originally vinyl covered, got two layers of fiberglass with vinylester resin, nonslip texturing and painted with Awlgrip. All the other mahogany wood surfaces were color matched and brought back to better than new condition with 9 coats of Bristol Finish. A lot of the wood work is also custom like the cap rail, transom and step. Most of the metal fittings are from a new Chris Craft Corsair including the upholstery. The interior has a custom mahogany butcher block folding table & kitchenette counter-top.
The vinyl top, custom bow pad that looks like teak and holly, and all interior and exterior upholstery is new and in excellent condition. This is a unique opportunity for a one of a kind boat!
