1988 Chaparral 198 20' Bowrider
READY FOR THE WATER NOW!!! GO TUBING, SKIING, OR FISHING TODAY!!!
Have current Ma. registration for boat and trailer. GM 4.3L engine runs great. Already had in the water a couple times this year. Lot of fun.
Boat has never seen salt water. Maintained and stored at boat yard every year. Always winterized and summerized.
Fiberglass inside and out. Never worry about replacing the floor. Comes with snap-on bow cover. Captains chairs at the helm. Cushioned seats on the bow and stern with no rips or holes. Lot of room between helm and stern for fishing, or install more seats. Prop is like new. NO LEAKS ANYWHERE!!!
Automatic fire suppression system under the engine cover. Automatic bilge pump. Boat has new Distributor cap, rotor, points, spark plugs, and wires. Fresh oil change. New bellows kit installed and stern drive filled with fresh gear lube. All fittings and U-joints greased with marine grease. Battery still like new. Recently painted hull with red, white, and blue eagle decal.
Comes with a lot of extra's including anchor, a lot of rope, 4 fenders, basic tool kit, 5 life jackets, spare prop for emergencies, new fire extinguisher, new flare gun, extra gas container, first aid kit, and more.
Trailer is an EZ LOADER with brand new tires 2 weeks old, new LED lights and wiring, new winch, new tongue coupler, and new jack stand. Wheel bearings have grease buddies and are filled with new grease.
The bad; bow light doesn't work. I ordered a new led bow light. You only need that for night boating. The trailer rollers are dry rotted but they work. I replaced a missing roller and it was very simple. The temp gauge doesn't work. I ordered a new gauge. The port side blower vent is broken. (see in photos) Blower still works fine. It's essentially for aesthetics and to direct the air flow towards the stern. The blower isn't used much.
Selling so I can purchase a Jet Ski or Sea Doo. $3900 OBO. Delivery is available after payment is received.
