1966 28' Lyman Express Cruiser. This boat has been in the care of Mike Mayne and Edgecomb Boatworks for many years now. Significant work completed over the years to keep the boat in sound condition. We bought it 3 years ago, and have found that we just aren't using it enough. Twin Chrysler 318s 225hp. Prior owners had significant electrical work completed. After purchase we had the hull and bottom painted and decided to replace the stbd engine. Port engine has a bit over 500 hours and stbd is less than 10. Twin - 50 gallon fuel tanks, FW Tank my estimate is around 30 gallons, MSDmacerator and holding tank, refrigerator. Survey completed for my purchase and available upon request. Motivated Seller Some of the items completed over the years are 2000 Replacement of 12 feet forward end of the keel and replacement of the skeg 2003 Keck and cabin top stripped, fiberglass sheathing installed and painted. Trunk cabin stripped and refinished windows were removed and re-installed after refurbishing. Most of the 12VDC wiring was replaced. 2004 Underwater body 'wooded' and 2 coats of red lead primer applied and then anti-fouling paint applied. Rudders removed and the stuffing boxes re-packed 2005 Insulated - sound proofed the machinery compartment and installed mufflers 2006 Sea strainers installed for engine raw water intakes. Teak swim platform was fabricated and installed. 2007 Teleflex steering system installed -2008 Several broken frames replaced - 2011 Replacement, as required, of the underwater body plank to frame fastenings. Marine MSD holding tank and macerator pump installed. Dometic DCAC refrigerator installed - 2014 Bottom re-painted, replaced zincs and serviced line cutter spurs, hull above waterline repainted. VHF installed - 2015 "new" rebuilt stbd engine installed.
