Albin North Sea Cutter

North Sea Cutter hull number 6 was purchased 3 years ago to cruise the intercostal from Newport RI to Florida. We searched for 3 years to find a boat that would be suitable for this trip in comfort with many amenities and in a safe manner. NSC is one of the only boats have only two steps to go from the main deck to fly bridge. The boat has two heads, with showers and bath tub and three separate sleeping areas, 3 zones of heat and air. We have had 3 couples stay comfortably on the boat for more than a week. This fast Trawler style boat is both a fast and efficient cruiser at 15 Knots burns with the twin Yanmar engines together about 15-18 gph. Onan 8MD generator with only 100 hours.

I am the second owner of the boat; I am listing all the major upgrades that have been added to the original boat that separate our boat "KOT'IJ" from any other NSC on the market. Plus I feel that between me and the prior owner we have worked out all of the issues that have been a concern with these NSC boats. All the work has been completed by one of the most Trusted and competent Albin Dealers, Standish Boat Yard in Tiverton, RI. Just for comparison this Hull is a HUNT design, and is similar hull to the hulls for the Sabre 43, and the East Bay 43 that cost over 100K more. We are selling our boat because both family situation, wife's health and we have aging parents and our own business will not allow us to take time away to complete this voyage. Our boat is one of the only a few NSC that has full size Fridge and Freezer in the galley. The custom interior of teak and holy impresses all that come aboard. Just had all the exterior teak professionally re-done with two coat of sealer and 8 coats of Varnish.
