An eye catcher in excellent condition. Very seaworthy craft.
Professionally restored by Wood Master Marine in Ohio specializing in expert restorations of Lyman wood boats. The boat has a new stem, knee, ribs, bottom planking, and a Philippine Mahogany transom. Interior bottom was painted during restoration. All decks, seats, engine box, bulwark and interior wood planks were sanded to bare wood and stained. The decks have eight coats and the interior has four coats of marine varnish. New white flooring was installed.
The boat was taken to The Wooden Runabout Co. in Holland, Michigan where the exterior hull was sanded and three coats of polyurethane applied. New throttle and shift cables were installed. The boat was tested in open water for proper plaining angle and the engine for cruising at 25mph and full rpm at 36 mph. The engine is a 170H.P. Crusader Interceptor and was rebuilt in 1996. The engine has 320 hours after rebuild. There is a 38 gallon gas tank. The boat has been rewired and has a new generator and voltage regulator.
The boat is equipped with oversize mooring lines, four air fenders with cleats, air horn, fire extinguisher, life jackets, custom mooring cover, convertible top , ventilating windows, deck hatch, bilge pump, blower, custom cushions, bow Lyman burgee and ensign stern flags with covers, new battery and boat hook. The original spot light and a teak swim platform come with the boat but are not mounted.
A 1992 Loadmaster tandem trailer, recently painted, comes with the boat. It has a new front axle with electronic break system, buddy bearings, pvc boat guides, a new two speed winch with brake and spare tire.
The boat has been extensively restored by professionals and an experienced owner. No expense was spared. The boat, engine and trailer are in excellent condition, trouble free and ready for the water. Take it out for a TEST RIDE and see for yourself.
