BOAT SUMMARY:
This 2002 Sonic USA 358 is considered 'Simply the Finest Performance Boats in the
World', included is a 2004 Nextrail triple axle all aluminum trailer. This 'high pertormance'
boat has all the amenities of a small cruiser yacht. lt includes a totally wild custom paint job
(must see), taller custom windscreen, sleeps 2 adults & 2 kids, Jabsco electric toilet, shower,
sink, microwave oven, refrigerator, Mermaid Marine A - C & Heater, 2 separate CD stereo
receivers with amps, DVD player with 20" flat screen TV, AC - DC inverter, GPS tracker, VHF radio, 30 amp shore power, custom LED lighting, battery charger, custom bimini top with full custom enclosure, sun deck - swim platform and many more extras included (no generator). This
Sonic has spent most of its life in up state New York in freshwater lakes, it was brought
down the Destin, Florida in 2013. lt has been immaculate maintained at and has been
stored inside the storage building at Shalimar Yacht Basin Marina in Shalimar, Florida.
This boat originally had twin MerCruisers 502 Cl big blocks that were 500 HP EFI's with
around 600 hours. The engines were rebuilt by D'Amico Custom Marine & Racing Engines
of Albany, New York in 2012. They were bored and stroked to 557 Cl and dyno'd at 5500
RPM's generating 660 HP & 620 FT-LBS of Torque! The engines were rebuilt
'specifically' for long lasting high performance cruising (build sheets and dyno test are
available). The engines currently have just over 100 hours on them and were completely
tuned up 3 - 15 with new impellers, new iridium spark plugs, new fuel pumps, compression
test, etc. The MerCruiser Bravo XR Drives were rebuilt (SB side in 4 - 14, P side not sure),
also included are high performance 30 degree pitch Bravo l-5 bladed racing props, drive
showers, K planes, IMCO hydraulic steering, silent choice mufflers, drive and tab indicators,
halon fire suppression system, Gaffrig racing gauges, depth finder, electric front racing
bolsters, custom rear bench 3 seat bolster, etc. The boats total length is 35' 8", beam 8'6",
weight 8,400 lbs, deadrise 25 degrees, fuel 2-100 gal. tanks, water 35 gal. tank, 2
batteries, etc. This Sonic has many more extra too many to mention here, MUST SEE!
