Stingray 240CS

I am the second owner of this pocket cruiser. I bought it in 2009 from a friend of mine who purchased it new in 2001. At the time I bought it, the engine had 62 hours on it and there are now 157. The boat sleeps four, two in a forward vee-berth convertible to a dinette and two in a mid cabin berth below the cockpit. The cockpit seats ten with no crowding. The fiberglass is in very good condition with little or no chalking.

Propulsion is by a 5.7 liter Volvo Penta duo-prop engine that develops 280 HP and will push the boat to just under 50 mph. There are two stainless steel propellers installed and a spare set of composite propellers for backup. The special tools necessary to change the propellers are also included. At its optimum cruising speed of 28 mph, gasoline consumption is 6-8 gph and the gas tank capacity is 68 gallons.
