Century Resorter

1958 Century Resorter 17 feet, For the last 30 years she has been kept in a showroom and indoor storage. Taken out to go to shows and not in water during that time. Fully restored in 2010 to be fully functional as a classic ski boat with all modern upgrades. Lower hull refinished in August 2012. Original 327 Fireball V8 engine with only 3 hours run-time since rebuild plus restored custom trailer.

Original engine and all accessories have been refurbished. The hour gauge reads 550 hours and is said to be true hours since the boat was only taken from showroom or indoor storage to display at shows. Engine has only been run 3 hours since full rebuild.

Upgrades:
All electric system wiring replaced
Engine generator was replaced with a single-wire alternator to simplify electrical systems and monitoring during operation. (Original generator comes with the boat)
New Rule bilge pumps bow and stern
All original fuel lines replaced with modern equivalents
Fuel tank was removed, cut open, sandblasted, resealed and powder coated
Installed high-volume blower and new ventilation lines
Under dash accessories console with all new switches and labeling
Rebuilt engine compartment hood, stainless steel hinges, heat shielding on inner walls and added automatic gas assist shock for easy engine access

Custom Trailer:
Tandem trailer was custom built for this boat when it was utilized as a show boat. In 2010 the steel trailer was restored to keep up with the restoration of the boat.

Trailer was stripped down of all hardware - bunks - lights and then repainted to match the new custom grey boat cover
New pressure treated lumber bunks installed and run the length of the boat to ensure even distribution of weight
New marine bunk carpeting (matches paint scheme) and galvanized hardware
(4) New 12" V-type rubber keel rollers for easy trailering
(4) R15 All season radial tires plus mounted spare tire
New Fulton trailering winch with nylon strap
New Fulton F2, 1600 lb. swing-up trailer jack with duel 7' wheels (two people could literally roll the boat around the showroom with this jack)
