We just don't use her enough.

She runs like a dream on two Yanmar diesel engines ; so no issues there.
Those engines are very economical, much better than the originals.
750 hours is what it reads on the meter for each engine.
However, the truth is the original engines ran for a long time ,then we replaced them with diesel engines in 2001.
Therefore, we figure each engine now has about 450 hours each.
If you know anything about Yanmar engines, you know that they are just getting broken in.

Four short steps down take you into a spacious, bright and airy saloon. Chairs, stools and a couch provide ample comfortable seating. Forward of the is the VIP stateroom. Mechanical: This boat has an engine room that is very easy to work on mechanical items and maintenance. Added LED light throughout engine room. Rebuilt 454 Crusaders with closed cooling. 7.5r Kohler gen with closed cooling. New impeller. Manifolds and heat exchanger were flushed. New electronic fuel pump from Kohler. Everything was gone through on the gen in the fall of 2018. Lots of new parts and runs great. New closed box bilge pump in aft. New Fresh water pump that gives plenty of water pressure to all faucets - shower heads. All sanitary hoses replaced August 2018. Over 60 of hosed replaced along with the vent hoses. Windlass motor rebuilt and relay replaced. Hot water heater is new. Battery charger - inverter was replaced in 2018 and upgraded to digital.

| I am selling my 1990 Carver Montego. It is mechanically sound. I had Ultramarine Services replace the entire transom assembly in 11 - 2016. New Bellows, New Gaskets, New Trim Cylinders, New Trim Senders, New Gimbal bearing and Ring, New Stern - drive upper and lower. The bilge pump was verified to be working properly. The boat has been professionally winterized yearly. All powertrain components outside of the boat have been replaced and have about 40 hours of running time since being repaired. It is a good running boat but I don't use it enough to justify having it. It has 2 beds, a stove, and a refrigerator. It has a CD player and bose speakers underneath the seats in the sitting area. It comes with a Bimini top and an enclosure cover. It is an older boat that runs good. You can have loads of fun riding down the lake or drop anchor and spend the night on the water.
