| This boat has a brand new engine, a 502 MerCrusier with only 3 hours. A new battery, new shift cable, new gaskets, new hose clamps and new manifolds to boot. This boat has always been a freshwater boat, has always been stored indoors and has been meticulously maintained.
It is fully loaded all the bells and whistles including, Kiekhaefer K-plane 280s, Bravo 1 out drive with Bravo 1 23 pitch 3 blade propeller, silent choice exhaust system, and custom audio . Also custom blue L.E.D lighting throughout the cockpit cabin and engine room (through the vents). The boat also has a custom made $10,000 Myco trailer with LED trailer lighting, a prop guard and electric brakes- by far the best trailer I've owned and easiest to load.
The previous owner had a cost-efficient wrap placed on the boat- and the wrap currently has many blemishes. The original wrap was $1,000.00. I am however willing to put $2,500.00 towards the new owners choice of a new custom wrap for the boat.
The original interior is in great shape. Other upgrades include a Carlotta Isotta Stainless and platinum Kevlar steering wheel and a platinum and stainless Livosi throttle to match with dual trim switches.

New Parts

| I have a 1988 Scarab concept. I bought this boat 2 years ago after selling my larger boat. It ran o.k just not to its ability. The previous owner told me, he had redone the outdrive thinking that was the problem. I used it once that year and pulled the 454 in the fall since I was not going to have the chance to use it again. I had Austin Jordan rebuild the motor over last winter. I had a marine mechanic install the motor while replacing the water pump, rebuild the starter and alternator with all new mounting hardware. I installed a new edelbrock air gap intake manifold and rebuilt the 650 double pumper Holley. I took it to silver lake this year and it struggled over half throttle. I went into town and bought a brand new 750 vac secondary Holley and installed it. Ran great for a minute. I believe the wires need to be replaced, I seen one spark on the valve cover when I started it. I have not set the timing with a gun, just by ear. It needs a new shift cable bellows and there is a small crack on the impellar housing that drips. The vinyl is in good shape with only a couple cracks on the rear seat. This boat was ahead of it's time design wise and is a great looking and size boat. Has a stepped hull. I just use it once a year and have a one year old daughter.... my boating days will start back up in 4-5 years. You will not see another one of these boats around here... at least I haven't yet.
The trailer is a galvanized tandem axle trailer. Not the prettiest but does the job and could be brought back to life fairly easy.. Located in Grand Rapids Michigan. |

| For sale is my 1995 wellcraft scarab 22'. This boat is truly in immaculate shape and needs nothing! It has a small block Mercruiser 350 and Alpha 1 outdrive. The boat has 300 Hours. She can hit max speed of 62mph. Never been fixed or painted. All original. The previous owner kept it in a climate controlled garage and only ever used it in fresh water. I do take it in salt water and fresh water alike but it is always flushed with dawn dish soap in the hose and fresh water. But I always keep it in a garage. Included is a snap on cabin cover and a complete boat cover. She also has Corsa quick and quiet pipes on it with the captains call "quiet mode" or open mode with straight through hull 4" slash cut tips. She has an aftermarket enertia prop which helps her get up and on plain with ease. Boat just had fresh tune up including carb cleaned, fuel filter, new belts, plugs, wires, distributor cap, oil change, oil filter, gear oil in the outdrive, and water pump. Many spare parts and oils are included as well. The engine cover was just re done a few weeks ago with a fresh piece of 3 - 4" plywood and all new stainless steel screws. Has a marine radio with 4 speakers and AUX Jack to listen to iPod - phone. Also has a Depth finder.
This is a really fun and quick boat that is turn key ready to rock!! Everywhere I go I catch attention and constantly have people asking me all about it! Real head turner for sure! Reason for selling is simply that I have a big family and need a bigger boat.
TRAILER- Comes with an aluminum magic tilt dual axle float on trailer with all new wood, carpet, 5 new tires, tongue - hitch receiver, and 2 additional cross braces to stiffen up trailer. All done as of the beginning of this summer.

| We are selling our 1998 22' SCARAB. Nothing is wrong with this boat, it is mechanically and cosmetically in immaculate condition for it's age. Shop kept 24 - 7. Fresh water only. The only wrenching on this boat I have had to do was when I replaced the metal trim pump mount with a stainless steel mount. We LOVE this boat and so does everyone else I know who as owned one, I really don't want to sell it but we need to get a more kid friendly boat now that our daughter is getting a little older. It has a custom wrap and I get a lot of compliments everywhere I go. Few minor cosmetic things, i.e. expected stress cracks, very small tear in one of the seats. Always starts with NO issues, have not had to have ANY work done to this boat other than yearly maintenance. Trailer serviced each season. Have only had time to enjoy the boat this year about a total of 11 days. 2000 Ford F350 7.3 in pics also for sale, under 200k miles 12000.
