| 2008 Fountain 35 foot lightning, staggered 525 motors, Bravo XR drives with Sportmaster 2 Shorty gear cases. 211 original hours. 100 mph boat. See attached picture of Fountain Performance report for this boat. I have had it to 99 mph ( see attached speedometer picture) with Hering props but it was a hot day with glassy sticky water conditions and the speed was still climbing when I ran out of lake. The boat was completely stable at that speed with no chine walk or wobbles, just like it was on rails. See attached video. It is a fantastic riding boat. The Hering props give great top end speed and also midrange cruise speed. The boat cruises 75 mph at 4000 rpm, 65 at 3500, and 90 at 4700, See attached pics. The props will run up to the 5350 RPM rev limiter..
The interior and exterior are both in excellent condition. The boat has low usage at high RPM levels. See attached picture of time at each RPM level. The top ends have been done by Eddie Young at Young Performance Marine. This included new valve springs and rocker arms. The port drive was replaced ( both upper and lower units) in May, 2021 and has about 50 hours on it now. The starboard drive was just replaced (both upper and lower units) this August and has about 20 hours on it now. Both drives were new from Mercury Marine and cost about $16k each. The starboard drive is still under warranty until next August. I have all receipts. The boat has brand new $7k Hering props from FJs at Lake of the Ozarks. The props have 8 hours of run time on them now. Triple axle custom trailer from Magnum with EOH brakes. Easy to load. No salt water usage on boat.
You can find a cheaper boat like this out there but it wont have the top ends done yet and by Eddie Young which makes these engines better than sealed engines, and it wont have the drives replaced and from Mercury, with one drive still on warranty for 10 more months. And it wont have a fresh set of Hering props and just 211 hours on the boat. Add all that cost in plus the down time you will go through to do all that and this boat is a real bargain.. | I am listing my 2006 35 foot Fountain executioner. It has twin 496 ho enginines with roughly 300 fresh water hours on them. This boat has been meticulously maintained and upgraded while Ive owned it the last 3 years. Have added fender holders in engine compartment and a filler cushion in the cabin between couches for additional sleeping room. Drives were off approximately 60hours ago for a full service and upgraded the lowers to 1 1 - 4prop shaft at that time. Also checked both gimbals and all bellows for wear. Boat sits on a 2006 performance boat trailer that if fully galvanized to prevent rust and wear and is equipped with surge brakes. | 2006 Fountain 35 Lightning. Will sell two ways. 125k firm complete or 70k minus motors and drives firm. One of the cleanest you will find. Needs nothing!! Turn key every weekend. Hull shines, full detail and wax regularly. Full cover and cockpit cover. Only stored inside year round in heated garage. Never left in water ever except a few times over night. Runs 92 GPS. Comes with Myco Aluminum 2 axle trailer, new tires and bearing 50 miles ago and electric trailer jack. Fridge, Vacuflush head, drop in cockpit rug.
Full 2020 fresh restoration. 35 hours on Entire boat since was gone through top to bottom this last winter. 70k plus in upgrades and refreshes, exhaust drives and gimbals. Entire windshield re powder coated and new weather striping from fountain. 430 original hours on hull. Factory Mercury Racing 525EFIs got complete refreshs by Eddie Young who builds some of the best motors in the country! Engine history printout available for before and after motors rebuilt. Blocks, cranks and bare head casting where the only thing re used, all other engine parts brand new internals. Currently 35 hours on entire updated boat. Brand new Stainless marine exhaust with custom long tails with water dumps to get most of water overboard. New stainless marine tips to get ride of junk fountain ones. Complete bilge gone through. Entire transom was de-rigged. And resealed. I always completely reseal and check transom so there are zero leaks. Amazingly the transom was sealed perfect from the factory but most arnt which is why I did this. Transom and stringers rock solid dry. Have several pic of transom when I drilled gor new rigging and dry wood every hole. Every screw hole was resealed, tabs removed and all resealed. All new cables, Brand new HP gimble assys, brand new XR drives 1.5s. To much to list everything was go through rebuilt or replaced, sea pump, sensors, coils, IAcss wires...etc. 380kplanes. New sea strainers and all hoses and clip replaces with stainless hardware where the factory scrimped on. Vacuflush head with new Macerator pump out. New JL audio speakers and Fusion Bluetooth full system, 2 amps with subs. 2 brand new Garmin nav units one for passenger - driver with Auto guidance. Over 400 hours were spent this winter going through this boat. Boat is used all weekend every weekend so hours will go up. Selling firm at 125k Complete or Hull, gimbals and trailer at 70k no drives firm. Boat is 110% turn key, no stories, no bullshit. Runs so good. Looking to go to a 42.
