Super luxurious design, American built, by the brand with 174 years of boat building tradition.
On the water or on the deck, nothing else looks, or feels, like a Chris-Craft, the Corsair 36 is the type of boat that turns heads. If you are used to quality luxury items or are ready for the luxury life style, then this is the boat you should be buying.
Its full of options, from its hard top with electric center sunroof, and electric sun shade in the back, an electric cockpit table that disappears in the cockpit floor when you need the space, cockpit air conditioning, to the engine room hatch opens electrically.
Teak swim platform, cockpit sole, bow lounge and trim, for a beautiful look, along the 316-liter grade stainless steel, from the deck plates to the light cover to the fuel-fill cover to the through-hull fittings to the gate for the centerline walk-through to the swim platform. The beefy stainless-steel cleats come engraved with the Chris-Craft logo, are bolted into a half-inch-thick aluminum backing plate.
Evidence of a quality build show at the hatches on board, theyre all resin-infused to keep weight down, and are smooth on both sides for a tidy appearance. Stainless-steel gas-assisted struts hold them open.
The boats wiring meets ABYC standards and is loomed in plastic tubing and waterproof Deutsch connectors.
The gelcoat is vinylester, which better resists fading and osmotic blistering.
U-shape cockpit seating that wraps around the Corsair 36s transom, with a deploy-able teak table. Standard refrigerator and wet bar are smartly positioned between the cockpit and the seats at either console, below decks, the galley to port features a solid-surface counter with fiddled rails to keep everything off the floor. Forward, the elevated dinette converts to a V-berth. A well-appointed head with acrylic shower door that separates the shower from the rest of the head. BRIEF SUMMARY
Sometimes you don't want to fish, or ski, or wakeboard or do other activities that will cause you to break a sweat while boating. You just want to ride around living the life of Riley. On those days, you could do a lot worse than own a Chris-Craft Corsair 36, a runabout on steroids that's about a sweet-looking as a boat can be. A raft of people can sit comfortably in the cockpit for dayboating, or a couple can enjoy the boat as a compact cruiser for overnighting or short voyages. It will be one of the coolest-looking boats in any harbor, so if you want to see and be seen, the Corsair 36 could be just the boat for you.
THE MISSION
There is only one mission for the Corsair 36: To be the most jaw-dropping, stunningly handsome, alluring, flawlessly elegant boat on the water. Her classic beauty signals the taste and nautical refinement of her owner for all to see.
CONSTRUCTION
The most unusual aspect of her construction is the complexity or her tooling (i.e. molds). Every compound curve, reverse, relief and hull tumble home is made with molds within molds in one of the most complicated and artistic jobs of fiberglass construction in the industry. But it is these curves which make the Corsair what she is. Otherwise construction is basically traditional. A vinylester barrier coat is put on the hull exterior to prevent osmosis in the unlikely event the boat is left in the water for long periods. But this is really a summer boat, not a year-rounder. Her smaller Corsair sisters make excellent tenders for megayacht owners and, indeed, the Corsair 36 could serve the same purpose if the right 300-footer came along.
ACCOMODATIONS
Thanks to its size, the Corsair 36 can fit a comfortable cabin under its foredeck. There's 6' 2" of headroom and a midships stateroom with a queen-sized berth and a cedar-lined hanging locker. Forward there is a banquette that makes into a V-berth sleeping two. Drop in the dining table and it makes into a double. An adequate galley has a dual-voltage refrigerator, two-burner electric stove and microwave oven. The head compartment has a shower stall with a teak grate and electric toilet with macerator. For a runabout, the Corsair 36 should make a good cruiser, at least for short voyages and long weekends.. Located in Miami Florida. |

| This 1980 Chris Craft 381 is in very good condition. It has a great layout with 2 staterooms, each with its own ensuite head. Internal spaces have a light and airy feel with opening screened windows throughout. This vessel has been maintained properly and with many safety updates by its Captain-owner. This Classic has been redone inside and out using updated materials but maintaining its original style. The galley has abundant counter space for cooking, drawers, storage cabinets, deep stainless steel sink, new refrigerator, microwave, and built-in wine rack. The salon has plentiful storage throughout with good head-room, and an internal helm station. The Corinthian is an excellent model for entertaining and outdoor enjoyment with plenty of outdoor seating including a flybridge helm (with seating for 4), a large sun deck (seating for 6) transom with built-in rod holders, and a swim platform with swim ladder. The decks are covered by an oversize Bimini top. The engines have low hours. Engine belts, starters, exhaust system, batteries, manifolds and risers recently replaced. Has 6.5KW Onan generator with recently replaced water pump. Three air conditioning units (one for each bedroom and one for the main salon). Master has automatic temperature control unit. Bottom job completed within past year. At low RPM trawling speed (8 knots) each engine burns 1.5 to 2 GPH. The navigation is set up for a multifunction chart plotter - GPS - depth sounder at the fly bridge helm. Located in Port St Lucie Florida. |

| The Corinthian is a unique Motor Yacht built by the famed builder Chris Craft Marine. This model is an ideal vessel for a live aboard or makes for a roomy family cruiser for the perfect weekend getaway up the delta or exploring San Francisco Bay.
The aft cabin layout provides for a spacious master stateroom with ensuite head with shower. There are plenty of closets and drawers to keep you organized.
Forward of the aft cabin is the Salon with an L shaped settee and seating for 6. The settee folds out into a double bed for guests. Opposite the settee is the galley with a 3 burner Princess stove top, oven with broiler and microwave. The refrigerator - freezer is new and is of ample size. There is a navigation station as well for operating the vessel indoors on colder days.
Forward of the Salon and Galley is another head and an ample V-Berth.
Youre on the water so where else would you want to be but outdoors. This yacht features a large sundeck with plenty of room for lounging or entertaining and steps up from the sun deck is the bridge with seating for five and all the controls to operate the vessel from high above the water. To maximize comfort, there are separate Biminis to provide shade on both the sundeck and bridge.
For fun days of swimming or fishing there is a nice sized cockpit aft of the master stateroom and a swimming platform as well.
