1997 Ranger Comanche 481V with 1997 Johnson Fast Strike 150hp V6 two stroke outboard. The boat is in excellent condition for its age and has low running hours.
The 480 series boats from the 1990's are widely known as the fastest and best riding boats ranger had ever made, and 1997 was the last production year of the 481V.
It was garage kept by myself and the original owner. It has working dual areated livewells, dual full length carpeted rod lockers, 2 fishing seats, 2 above deck rod holder straps,
and 4 under deck storage compartments. There is a Minn Kota Maxxum 70lb 24v ten speed foot controlled trolling motor on the front and it has a 3 bank Ranger brand battery charger.
The helm has a Lowrance LMS-520C fish finder and the casting deck has a Lowrance X-125 fish finder.
The outboard starts easily, idles quietly, shifts gears smooth, and accelerates strong, and pumps out a solid stream of cooling water. It has a 4 blade stainless steel Renegade prop.
The 3 batteries are less than 3 years old, the waterpump impeller was installed in the fall of 2018, and a new fuel line was installed in 2018. The lower unit oil has been changed every fall.
The bench seat has new marine upholstery just put on in 2020.
The Ranger trailer pulls perfectly on the highway and it has Cool Hub brand oil bath sealed hubs, new tires just put on in 2020, and a frame mounted spare tire.
The trailer also has working brakes, attached retractable tie down straps, working lights, a bow strap, and safety chains.
This boat has the optional front deck extension casting platform and the OEM all weather highway use Ranger boat cover that ties down to the trailer frame.
