This is a 1983 Crosby yachts fantail launch which is designed around a 1915 fantail launch plan. Crosby is the builder of the wooden yachts for the Kennedy family in Rhode Island. The original price in 1983 was over $120,000 in 1983. The Yanmar 16hp Diesel engine fires right up and Since the mahogany hull has been out of the water for the last two years it will need to be soaked prior to launching but is ready to go. It should also be kept in the water for optimal use but the custom trailer fits the bill perfectly and it tows very easily.
This price is firm and is not negotiable. There is no financing and is sold with a bill of sale and Rhode Island registration. The boat was acquired through a boat museum in New Hampshire for a charity. Since 1983 there has been minor repairs as needed.
