Defever POC Flush Deck Photographs

Arthur DeFever designed several "Performance Offshore Cruiser" models of which the flush deck 53 POC proved the most popular. This rugged semi-displacement DeFever cruising yacht was designed to meet the market demand for higher speeds. The galley-up teak interior has the salon, pilothouse, and aft deck all on a single level.
3208 Caterpillars - 2652 hrs. since major overhaul in 2003 (both engines were removed from boat for overhaul). At this time a new Onan 9 kw generator was installed and the Onan 15 kw had the engine rebuilt and now has approx. 1800 hrs.

Main engine Hull screen strainers installed and engine room strainers replaced
Complete running gear remove & replaced or repaired as necessary ( shafts, struts, cutlass bearings, stuffing boxes, props serviced, and engine alignment)
Replaced 6 thru hull units
Installed new Intellian I-4 Satellite system w - 3 receivers
Replaced 20 AGM 12 volt batteries
