1954 Chris Craft runabout, 17' "Utility" model. This is an ALL- NEW "resto-mod" boat built over the last 8 years using the original boat as pattern. African mahogany over okume ply over white oak frames, multi-layer marine ply - epoxy bottom, new 260 HP 350 CI Mercruiser power with new Velvet Drive transmission. Sunbrella upholstery - marine vinyl trim. All systems new including bronze rudder, strut, driveshaft, PSS dripless shaft log, instruments, pumps, wiring, tank and Mercruiser single lever controls. Comfortable cruise at 22 mph; 46 mph w.o.t. Retains original serial number and original profile, dimensions and chrome components. Boat is fully commissioned with 6 hours use. Includes Easy Loader bunk trailer. Built as retirement project, as seen in past "Good Life" articles. Negotiable.
