Built in Singapore by the expert craftsmen of Grand Banks, "LOON" was the last GB 32 Classic built at this facility (Hull #855). The workers experience is reflected in LOON's expert joinery work and the total fit and finish of this classic yacht from the engine room to the stainless steel rail around her fly bridge windshield. She has the optional stainless steel package so all cleats, hawse pipes, rub rails, and stanchions sparkle along with her reduced teak exterior package. In 2000, the world famous Lyman-Morse boatyard installed a new Northern Lights 6kw generator and air conditioning to factory specifications. In 2002, Lyman-Morse installed a powerful Side Power bow thruster and additional electronics. LOON has been outfitted with custom canvas right down to full wrap over rail covers to protect her beautiful exterior brightwork. Electronics are duplicated and networked on the bridge and interior helm and include Raymarine ST60 depth gauge, ST6001 Autopilot, and Garmin 5212 touchscreen Chartplotter with radar. The galley is equipped with a three burner Princess propane cooktop, Grunert refrigerator - freezer, and Sharp built-in microwave. The head is equipped with a Vacu-Flush sanitation system. Recent maintenance includes: Nov 2012: Bottom paint with Sea Hawk paint; Mar 2013: Replaced packing in stuffing box; Jan 2014: Replaced sanitation hose in lazarette, replaced most hoses & clamps in engine room, replaced impeller, flushed heat exchanger, oil cooler, and AC unit, fire suppression system inspected and re-certified, engine and genset oil changes every 100 hrs. Recent additions include custom bedspread for V berth, custom made window treatments, 2014 9' Livingston hard shell dinghy, 2014 Yamaha four-stroke outboard, custom sunscreens for all windows, and two new AGM 4D batteries for house and engine. LOON has been meticulously maintained over her life and it is reflected in her current condition. She is turn key ready for her next adventure with new owners. Current owner just returned from a 4 month trip cruising the Abacos in the Bahamas. Current owner is moving up to a 40' vessel.
