| Rivas are known the world over for their gorgeous Italian styling and impeccable attention to detail. They have been featured in many films including several James Bond movies. They have been owned by aristocrats, Princes, and film actors. They have often been referred to as the Rolls Royce of watercraft. This particular vessel began life in Italy having been special ordered (when Riva did not offer special models)by her first owner. He had purchased a few new Riva Tritones previously and thus had significant influence with the company and ordered this Super Aquarama without the sun pad so it would be like the previous Tritones he enjoyed before. The second owner purchased her after only one year and had her shipped to Belgium where she remained in his ownership until 1982. At that time she was sold and consequently brought over to the U.S. to be kept on Lake Tahoe where she had at least one or possibly two owners. In 2004 she was sold again and brought to Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota where the current owner has used her. She underwent an extensive restoration from 2005 through 2007. No expense was spared on this gorgeous boat. We have a comlplete provenance detailing the original purchase, background of owners, and information on the restoration including photos along with information supporting the fact that this is a true "one off" build.
Features include: Twin Riva(GM) 427 CID/320 Hp inboards-completely rebuilt, cuddy with dual opening overhead hatches, Alpine stereo/cd, spotlight, compass, windshield wipers, flip-up bolster helm seat, in-floor cooler, in-floor fender storage with Riva monogrammed fenders, concealed convertible top, bow and stern poles with flag and burgee, bow anchor locker with anchor, large mahogany storage bin below decks, stern shower/washdown, spare propellers, mahogany boat hook, and full mooring cover. Hull #393 is in SHOW CONDITION and will make the next owner proud to have included in their boat livery.
