| Description: |
Champagne Lady was built as a live aboard cruiser. She is as comfortable anchored out as she is at the dock. Built by the owners on a 55 foot fiberglass Defender hull, she is approximately 63 feet overall with a sturdy teak bow pulpit, dive platform and stainless steel davits. She has a single stateroom forward with a large head, bidet and bathtub on the port side and opposite is a pantry with an Asko washer and dryer. The galley is a chef’s dream with a large Dynasty stainless steel stove with an oven and abundant storage. The cabins are open and airy with 2 convertibles for guests and she has a full walk around for easy docking and maintenance. Below decks aft is a lazarette with storage lockers, water tanks and water maker and the inverter. Forward of the lazarette is the engine room and then a work room storage area. Powered by a Lugger 425 HP engine she cruises economically at 8 knots. Also included are a 12 KW generator, Heart I nverter, 8 Siemens 75 watt solar panels and an Air-X wind generator. With alternative energy sources you can anchor out for long periods of time without having to run the generator every day. For the last 8 years Champagne Lady has spent 6 months a year in the Bahamas and is now located in Marathon, Florida ready to go cruising again. |
