This is a beautiful 1991 Fountain 42' Lightning with built big block 454's w - B&M blowers. If you're looking for a nice boat that is actually affordable, look no further because you won't find another this nice for anywhere near this price!! This is a 3 owner boat that was owned by the original owner until 2008 when it was sold to a friend of mine who kept it for 4 years and then I purchased it. This boat since day one has only been used in fresh water and until my ownership had never been kept in the water overnight. It has spent 2 nights in the water and the cabin has only been slept in those 2 nights. The engines are built 454's that hit very hard. They were rebuilt in 07 and have right over 100 hours on them. That should show how often the boat gets used...put in one day a weekend, ride 100 yards from marina to hangout spot, and that's it! The blowers make 6-7 pounds of boost. The boat cruises beautifully at 55mph and tops out about 73-74. It has bravo one drives both of which have hardly any hours on them. When accelerating, the boat isn't like most and take a long time to get on plane...Throttle up to 2500 rpm and it comes out of the hole in a second! The boat has Enron paint and is extremely nice and shiny white as is the hull with no fiberglass chips or cracks. Only wear on hull - paint is at the very nose of the boat from pulling it up on the trailer where it rubs the trailer guide and one docking light needs repainted. All of the upholstery was redone in 2000 and is still in very nice shape with no rips or tears. The interior cabin upholstery literally still looks new. The floor carpet shows discoloring from storing coolers and from walking in and out and the rear seat right hand side bolster wood needs replaced...Otherwise the upholstery is as nice as it gets. Just last year I had all new dash, gauges, steering wheel, and throttles put in the boat. It has a silver carbon dash from Steve at Innotech products, all Livorsi gauges, Livorsi polished thorttles, and the best steering wheel on the market an Isotta Carlotta silver carbon wheel. I even had Steve at Innotech make me the panel that goes to the right of the dash as well as a custom overlay where the boost and fuel pressure gauges are. When did the new dash I also installed new GPS and cb radio. It has 4 new batteries in late 2013 as well as just had all 4 carbs rebuilt. The boat has been fully winterized with all fluids exchanged, new plugs, wires, caps, and rotors, so this 2014 season all she needs is bump the key and go! The boat has been shrink wrapped every year as well and is still shrink wrapped and winterized due to the VA weather. It comes with a matching cockpit cover as well as a full length cover. Trailer is included and is a 1992 South Florida. In 2013 had all new wheel bearings installed, new brakes, brake surge solenoid, bunk brackets, and tail lights replaced. Put it this way....anything this boat has ever needed it has received!!! I'm not saying it's perfect as it's a 1991; but I'd be willing to bet you won't find another like it for this kind of money!
Only reason for selling is purchased a new Fountain and don't need two boats.

I apologize the picture of the new dash was taken as it was almost complete and I do not have a nice pretty day time picture of it done. The gauges also have red backlighting.
