| The 355 Motor Yacht is built in the Carver tradition for stylish designs and quality construction all at an affordable price. Like all Carvers of this era it is listed as a 35’ vessel when, in fact, it is 41’ overall resulting in a far more living space than the official length would suggest. The salon is entered through a sliding glass door from the cockpit area. One is immediately struck by the voluminous interior with a light airy “designer feel”. She has light maple wood cabinetry, carpet, mini-blinds on all windows, counters and light beige fabrics. There is a straight settee to port and an entertainment center and chair to starboard. The facing bench seat convertible dinette is forward to starboard. The full galley is accessed down several steps and a features a Norcold full size refrigerator w/freezer, Frigidaire microwave, Princess 3-burner w/oven, built-in B & D coffee maker and a large polished SS sink. There is plenty of counter, cabinet and drawer space for storing food and dishes. The master cabin is aft down two steps from the salon. It has a large offset pedestal queen berth, hanging locker, drawer storage and a private head compartment with separate stall shower. The guest cabin is forward and has an offset double berth with an additional single berth to sleep a total of three people, hanging locker and access to the guest head. The fully enclosed sundeck has a hardtop, wet bar w/Raritan icemaker and molded steps down to the swim platform and up to the bridge. The bridge has comfortable seating for 5 or 6 adults and has full new Eisenglass enclosures. There is a excellent cruising instrument package, which includes a Garmin 220 GPS/plotter, Lowrance depth/fish finder, VHF and a compass. Power is provided by twin 330-hp 7.4L FWC Crusader engines with 960 hours (New risers in 2004). She cruises at 18 knots; maximum 25 knots. There are numerous upgrades and options including a Kohler 6.5kw Kohler generator with only 200 hours, windlass, spotlight, SS fender racks, two A/C systems and much, much more. The boat is in excellent condition and a “must see” for the serious family cruiser/weekender buyer. |
