The Selene 47 is a sturdy, blue-water, displacement-hull trawler yacht with proven long-distance cruising capability. A stairway (starboard) goes up to the pilothouse with its electronics array, control systems, and watch seat, that doubles as a sleeping berth with another berth behind. Pilothouse doors open to full walk-around decks, and a stairway (aft) leads to the fly bridge and boat deck. A portside stairway from the salon leads to the lower deck. Forward port is a guest cabin with twin bunks, hanging locker and storage drawers. Opposite is the guest head with shower. The adjacent engine room door affords excellent visibility and access to engines and mechanical systems. Forward is the master stateroom with king-size bed, built-in storage lockers and drawers, and en-suite head with full shower - tub. Outer areas include the aft deck with stern gate and retractable swim platform; Portuguese bridge with gated access to foredeck and windlass - anchoring system; and wide walk-around, gated side decks; fly-bridge with steering and controls, bimini cover, entertainment area, SSB antenna, and dinghy stowage; and mast with radar antenna, radar reflector, VHF and AIS antennas, deck lights, and boom hoist. |
