Description:

HATTERAS was originally built as a 58' Hatteras. Her 2nd owner purchased her in 1999 and hired a naval architect to draw plans to modify and refurbish the vessel. A new 14' section was added to the stern of the original vessel with sections of the hull and decks removed and replaced. Both engines were totally rebuilt at this time, two new generators were added, and all of the vessel's electrical systems were renewed. Additional tanks for fuel and water were fabricated and installed, and all plumbing systems were examined, repaired and - or replaced. Stabilizers, extensive electronics and entertainment equipment were added and the interior was modified - refurbished as well during the two-year long refit finished 2003 at a cost of over $700,000. She was purchased by another owner in 2009 and kept in Ft Pierce. HATTERAS sleeps 6 in 3 staterooms. You will enjoy relaxing, eating, drinking and cooking in the spacious extended aft deck. The main salon features a 6 ft projection TV and surround sound stereo system. Adjoining the salon is the open galley.
