| MEEKO is a unique, high quality, single-diesel Legacy 42 sedan cruiser. Ordered new and built for very knowledgeable long-time boaters, she is an ideal one couple coastwise cruising boat. MEEKO has covered considerable distances including trips around the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, Central America, through Panama canal, Caribbean, US East and West Coasts, and now on her way from Michigan back to New England. The Legacy 42 is renown for her superior performance in rough water delivering a soft, stable, quiet, and fume free ride. There are many details on MEEKO that are smart but one brilliant feature is a bronze coated stainless steel mesh that is incorporated into the custom hull laminate fadding a toughness to the hull laminate for those most remotes destinations. Other unique and desirable features include an electric dinghy hoist and dinghy storage area on the coach roof and a bath tub in the head below. The owner's cabin is larger than standard with a bigger center island berth and there is a fixed roof over the aft cockpit area.
