Tips for buying & selling safely on the Internet:
Never exchange money without inspecting a boat in person or having your agent survey it
Never over-pay or accept over-payment with money to be returned to a third party or in another form - this is a scam
Never accept a boat that has supposedly moved from the ad's stated location
Always double check wth your bank that funds have cleared before releasing any property (cashier's checks can be reversed long after the fact if fradulent)
