Well the time has come for me to sell my Sea Ray Weekender 230. After coming from an 80 MPH jetski to this, I just feel like there is something missing from my boating experience. This is a great boat for a someone looking to cruise around the lake and not feel the waves or chop, it's a SMOOTH riding boat. The hull has just over 600 hours on it but, the motor and out drive were both rebuilt and the gimble bearing was replaced 3 years ago by the previous owner with less than 50 hours.

| 1957 Luger Kit Boat 18' Cruiser
Luger was known for all size kit boats and went out of business in the 70's.
This boat was built in 1957 and used a small block Chevrolet as the original engine. In 1967 they had Stokely Marine in Coldwater, MI design a Conversion Kit to install a 400 ci Pontiac engine. The serial number shows it was in a 1968 Catalina. A three speed automobile transmission was used where third and reverse were used with a marine controller and a handle thru the floor board to active a brake booster to engage the clutch - worked - not well.
I was told the boat was always stored inside and had been in a barn from 1974 until 2005 when the gentleman I bought it from obtained it - got in running - spray painted it before selling to me in 2006.
Basically, I striped the boat, had all parts re-chromed, new upholstery, added new carpeted floor boards, re-stained, re-painted - all with marine finishes, new tires on tandem tilt trailer, removed the automobile transmission and installed Marine Velvet Drive transmission, installed a rebuilt carburetor. Boat was in the water last year to make sure all ran properly, then pulled to finish carpeting etc. I have all the original build instructions as well as all the information for using the Pontiac engine.
The boat is solid and had been fiberglassed on the bottom portion resulting in a well sealed wood boat.. Located in Lake Waynoka Ohio. |

For the serious fisherman or someone looking to become a Charter Captain 1988 Sportcraft 300 Great Lakes Special Asking price 18,500 For sale, 1988-30 foot Great Lakes Special Sportcraft Costal hardtop. The boat has twin 5.0 L crusader V8 motors with consecutive serial numbers. They both have 1350 hours on them. It has a digital tachometer so you can monitor the RPM of each motor while running. The stringers are in good shape with minimal moisture content There was new packing put in the propeller shafts last year. Last year was the first time I stored the boat outside and I had it shrink wrapped. It comes with a canvas full back cover and a drop cover. It comes with a 1999 Loadmaster tri-axle trailer that has electronic brakes on all six wheels. The trailer had all new brakes and seals put on last in 2011. The owners of Mobile Marine have been responsible for all the maintenance on the boat. They can confirm the great care and maintenance Ive invested in the boat over the years. The electronics are all, Sitex, that include radar, fish finder, and a Max10 GPSplotter, plus another refurbished Max 10 GPS, as a spare, that I bought from Sitex. It also has 2 VHF radios and a theft proof JVC cd player FM radio. The boat is also equipped with a windlass anchor hoist, planer boards, Cisco electric planer board retrieve system.
