BDS 1071 Superchargers with superchillers,Nickerson performance Carburators, MSD ignitions and soft touch rev Limiters.
TRANSMISSIONS: Huber Marine 1350 Velvet drives just rebuilt June 2012. The transmissions feature 10 forward kevlar clutches, 3 Reverse kevlar clutches, bilet machined 4340 clutch drums and main shafts.
EXAUST: CMI Big tube headers and tail pipes with cmi selectable mufflers.
DRIVES: Mercury Racing SSM V with 18" 32 pitch labbed 4 blade props. The drives were just service and checked for wear in June 2012. They are in flawless condition. Running Amsoil Synthetic Gear oil to keep them pristine.
The Scarab features all Gaffrig Gauges and controls. Triple power bolster seating, left hand throttal and shifters very handy for running a co driver. Full cabin with pump out head and refrigerator. | To paraphrase the "Power Boat Guide"...Power cats have made believers out of a good many serious anglers in recent years thanks to their combination of stability, increased foredeck space, and excellent low speed handling.
Although not your typical deck boat, the World Cat 266 LC takes the concept of a HUGE party platform and adds a stable, smooth riding catamaran hull capable of handling safely in offshore waters.
The cockpit is much deeper and much more comfortable than the typical deck boat. The ability to have lots of room to move about and access to huge amounts of storage make the World Cat 266 LC an interesting alternative to the typical deck boat. The aft U-shaped lounge converts to a huge sun pad. The forward seating area is stunningly large and will accommodate a small crowd. To portside is an open air galley or wet bar area with a door that opens to a large head compartment featuring a new Jabsco electric head. The opposite compartment becomes a huge, lockable storage area. Another area of note is the windscreen to protect the pilot while underway.
