| 1986 SeaRay open bow ski boat. Mercruiser 5.7L V8 engine, Alpha One Mercruiser outdrive. Seats 8 people very comfortably, very roomy. This boat is mechanically sound and reliable. Nice new sound system with sub-woofer. The duel axle trailer has newer tires and surge brakes work well. The boat runs perfect. I went through this boat myself and have all the receipts of work done. If something needed fixing, I fixed. A few rips in the seats but otherwise the interior is in good condition. The exterior is good but could use some elbow grease to bring the shine back. The boat is currently up at Lake Isabella and ready to hit the lake. Come on up and take for a test drive. Took the boat out a few times already this year without a hitch. | Here is a registered 1940 Patterson 36 double trunk Wooden Cruiser. She is officially listed as a 1940 Patterson But she is built in the style of a boat from the 1920's or earlier. There are many scenarios to what era she was designed and who possibly built her. With her varnished mahogany raised panels and curved corners, to her chromed bronze steering wheel and her chromed adornments, she is a one of a kind wooden cruiser that shows in the woodwork and craftsmanship of the builder. She has a rumble seat on the forward deck and her bench seats are ventilated with rattan. Her dining salon can seat 6 people and the Cabin can sleep four. Cabin construction is raised mahogany panels, tongue and grove pine ceiling with oak ribs. Her hull frame consists of Kant frames forward, steam bent & sawn 1 1 - 4" on 9" centers tied by oak floor timbers, Shear and bilge clamps copper riveted to frames. The hull planks are 1 1 - 8 sawn carvel planking of Port Orford cedar with Silicone riveted fasteners. Her hull has been covered in West System which will give her many years of minimal maintenance. The decks are wood covered with cotton canvases that were all redone in 2008. The engine is a 1940 Chrysler Crown gas engine with a spitfire block upgrade done in the mid 80s.
Since the 1970's the Pied a Mer has always been under cover to protect her mahogany from weather damage. She has a smooth stable ride cruising at 12 knots and topping out at 16 knots. There are many original items still on this classic including the irreplaceable logbooks and documentation going back to 1942 that will go with her new owner.
This Classic Patterson Wooden Cruiser has been fully restored back to nearly brand new condition.
