| Excellent Liveaboard Boat!
This boat makes an excellent home! It has 2 Cabins forward and aft with 2 heads. Think of it as a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the water! The master cabin has a modified Queen-Size bed. The Aft Cabin has 2 twin beds. It has a Spacious Interior with lots of storage space and bunks for 5 people(I've fit 7 people on overnight trips). It has a large Galley with a double sink and lots of storage, including a Large Refrigerator, Microwave, and 3 burner Electric Stove. You can also cook with the 2 Barbecue grills, gas and charcoal. Enjoy protected outdoor space with enclosed fly bridge bimini and enclosed aft deck under the fiberglass hard top.
It has Dual Heat Pumps which work as both Heaters or Air Conditioners. While at the dock it can be powered by the Dual shore power system (30A AC each), or just 1. While out at sea it can be powered by the 6.5 kW Onan Generator which currently has about 360 hours on it. It has 3 deep cycle marine 12V batteries. Many things run on DC so you will be comfortable even without AC power. You will enjoy the comfort and convenience of showering on-board with the Sealed shower stall with seat - there is no need to shower on shore. The water heater works by either AC power or the heat of one engine, so you can enjoy hot water while on extended cruises.
This boat is equipped with an MP3 CD player with remote(12V) and aux in. Enjoy movies with the surround sound, subwoofer, and 20" TV. It is wired for Cable TV, phone, and internet.
It has lots of deck space for all of your toys including kayaks, surf boards, bicycles, etc.
This boat is ready to go out to sea with it's Radar, GPS Chart Plotter with Fish finder, new DSC VHF radio, and Hailer with fog horn.
It has an Electric Windless(for hauling up the anchor), Remote Controlled Spotlight, and Docking lights.
The main engines are Twin Gas 270hp Crusaders (5.7L) (with heat exchangers).
All maintenance is kept up to date! The boat is in very good condition.
It contains the following storage tanks: 200 gal fuel (with crossovers), 120 gal fresh water, 11 gal water heater, 10 gal waste (with discharge pump)
Length overall: 38' 9"
Model: 1984 Sea Ray 360 Aft Cabin
History:
The boat was manufactured in Merrit Island, FL in Nov 1983, then transported to San Diego, CA for the original owner. At some point the boat was transported by truck from San Diego to the SF Bay delta area. The boat was previously docked in Pittsburg, CA on the delta and cruised to Oakland, where I found it.
I purchased the boat in December 2001 in Oakland, CA and moved it down the coast to Ventura, CA, where I have lived on it ever since. I estimate that I am the third owner.
The engines currently have about 760 hours each. When I bought it they had just under 300 hours each. I have taken very good care of the boat and the engines and perform regular maintenance.
She was just recently hauled out and had the bottom painted, shaft logs repacked, new zincs, and other necessary maintenance. She was launched May 29, 2012.
A survey will be necessary to get insurance for the boat, which is required by CA law. The buyer may want to have the boat hauled out as part of the survey but all bottom maintenance is current.
The boat is a documented vessel with the U.S. Coast Guard, it is not registered with the state of CA. One of The benefits of documentation is that you don't have to pay an annual registration fee to the state. There is a fee for transferring the documentation to a new owner, which costs $500. They will perform a title search which assures you that there are no outstanding liens against the boat, ensuring you a clean title.
I teach the new owner how to operate the boat and assist them to move her anywhere along the southern California coast after the sale is complete.
