| This is a great boat in great shape ready to put in water, The only reason Im selling is that Im purchasing a bigger boat and need to get money from this one to complete transaction. This model is one of the most popular ever built by sea ray. It has wide beam lots of head room and a great roomy layout. I had it surveyed last month and it came in at $33,000.00. I have complete survey in pdf formate so I can send to interested purchasers, I also have many more pics than I get on here so I will be happy to e-mail those as well. I have painted the bottom every yearsand completely buffed and waxed every year. Only three owners and about 750 original hours on engines. I have owned four years, the guy before me 9 years and he had it out of water the last six years he owned it and then the original owner prior to that. There is over two thousand dolars of new electronics on boat. Garman 441S with blue chart gps and fish finder, west marine vhf 550 marine radio, Dual mxd m66 radio - cd - mp3 - digital player with speakers inside and outside boat, and 32" flat screen tv mounted so it can be swiveled to be seen in master bedroom, or in galley area. Boat is direct wired for cable too.
The cushions were redone the year before I got boat, and I replace canvas last year with the top of line tinted glass in it. All teak in great shape. | Good looks, great design and family practicality made the 1986 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer one of the most popular express cruisers on the market. Powered by twin Mercruiser 454 CID Velvet drive engines, she is a great performer. With a beam of 12 feet, she features a large open cockpit with ample room and a very spacious cabin interior outfitted with all the comforts of home!
The carpeted salon has wraparound galley with teak cabinets, solid surface counter top, and integrated sink with pressurized water. Appliances include a three-burner range, built-in microwave oven, and under-counter refrigerator - freezer as well as an ice maker. Opposite the galley is a convertible dinette. The forward island berth has under-berth storage, storage cabinet, and hanging lockers. The mid-cabin also has a double berth. The enclosed head has a vanity and a shower. There is also air conditioning and a generator to provide offshore electrical power.
The helm features Raytheon Pathfinder Radar, Garmin GPSmap, VHF radio, Ritchie compass, a depth meter and a stainless steel wheel. Seating includes an adjustable helm seat, companion lounge, and removable stern seating. A transom door gives access to the extended swim platform with teak inserts, and a boarding ladder. Included is a bimini top with full canvas enclosure. Forward is a stainless steel bow rail with anchor and windlass.
This 340 Sundancer is a great deal and with some TLC promises years of fun on the water!
CONDITION: This boat is a freshwater boat that is in good condition and had the engines tuned up and ready to go. The port engine has a brand new transmission and V-Drive with a one year manufacturers warranty. The starboard transmission was also repaired this fall. A storm recently tore some of the plastic bimini windows on the aft section of the cover. The gel coat around the exhaust vents has started to crack. Otherwise the boat has been well maintained and with some TLC will clean up like new! Video of a sea test is available on request.
