This particular vessel is the 35 model of the Chris Craft Double cabin sedan series, built by Chris Craft Corporation in Pompano, Florida. These vessels are extremely popular in this size range due to the excellent hull design, and performance, and the extremely spacious and well thought out living accommodations. Construction of these vessels are above average with heavy hand laid solid glass hulls. Finish and detail work on Chris Craft vessels are excellent and machinery installation and systems are above average.

Master Cabin Aft. Sleeps two in twin beds, Forward Cabin sleeps two in bunks, Main salon sleeps two on Flexsteel L shaped sofa sleeper. Also up to two small persons on convertible seat on bridge (sleeps 8 total) Fly bridge is fully enclosed with custom fiberglass enclosure, and sliding windows for airflow making this a true expanded space for sleeping or entertaining in all weather. Galley is in main salon with 110 volt fridge, two burner electric - alcohol Origo stove, separate counter top electric oven. Microwave, Stainless Sink, built in blender, upper and lower cabinets.

| The 350 Catalina is one of the most popular Chris Crafts ever made. Built on a solid-fiberglass, low deadrise hull with a wide beam, the 350 has an enormous interior for her size as well as an entertainment-friendly helm - aft deck platform. This is a warm, very roomy and very comfortable boat, with full standing headroom everywhere (6'4"). This is a true live-aboard boat, with an interior roomy enough that long periods aboard even in bad weather are easy and pleasant. She'll sleep six comfortably. They don't make boats like this any more, with solid heavy construction, good materials, designed and made with care and attention to detail. This boat has spent her entire life on the Great lakes. The present owner has maintained her well and she shows as a much newer boat.
Her interior accommodations include a spacious main cabin with AC and huge windows. There is a convertible couch and rattan chair. built-in shelves and cabinets, and a table. Windows are large and open, providing plenty of light and fresh air. The salon has an Island feel.
The full galley has large counter space, a stainless steel sink, a Princess 3-burner electric stove and oven, a microwave. a refrigerator with freezer, a separate freezer in addition, and cabinets above and below. There is also an ice maker and coffee maker. There is a 5 gallon hot water heater and a pressure tank to maintain even water pressure. There are two roomy staterooms each with two built-in berths, plus storage under the beds, a full-size closet, and a cabinet. The head has cabinet storage and plenty of counter space, a stall shower enclosure, enamel sink and marine toilet. The engine room is large, and full access to both engines is available by taking up two floor panels.
Topside, the helm is level with the aft deck, so the helmsman isn't separated from the passengers. She is pretty well equipped for cruising with GPS - Plotter, Compass, VHF, depth sounder, and AM - FM - CD stereo with remote on helm.
In addition to the captain's and mate's chairs, there is ample room for two or three other chairs and a cooler to keep drinks handy. The cockpit is carpeted. The windshield opens from the top, so they can usually remain somewhat open for fresh air even in the rain. The top comes down to make it a good sized sport boat atmosphere. Full canvas protects the deck. She has full walk around decks and a large foredeck with built-in seating, and a large teak swim platform with ladder.
She will cruise at 12-15 knots with a top speed in the upper teens to low 20's. She is powered by chevy V-8 350s. Port side has less than 10 hours on new motor and starboard has new intake manifold. Everything was done right with no shortcuts. The boat is very comfortable under way, handling reasonable weather well and only occasionally landing spray on the deck.
Trim tabs, windshield wipers, and horn are also on the helm. There are spare props. Shafts and struts were replaced in 03, waste tank in 02, electronic ignitions in 03. Upgrades have all been done professionally and properly. There is an Kohler generator that is not operating and the price reflects it. Four batteries with switches, emergency start system and dual shore cords.
These Chris Crafts were built with longevity as the result if not the goal at the time. They are very user friendly with easy line handling set-up for the crew. Trojan's 48 Meridian was designed by Blaine Seely as a comfortable, all weather long range cruiser. The semi-displacement hull (the same hull Whittaker Corporation, Trojan's parent company at the time, built as a commercial fishing trawler) has a sharp entry, considerable bow flare, and hard chines aft. Combined with a raised pilothouse, portuguese bridge, and covered aft cockpit she is a comfortable boat offshore or dockside.
A total of 13 48' Meridians were built. "Blackdog" is hull #11 in the series.

On your right is a generous closet with plenty of hanging, shelf and bin storage. Just forward of the closet is the head with stainless sink, fan vent, mirror and lots of storage. The head is fully automated electronic macerator commode. The shower is a full separate stand up shower with glass door and wand shower head. The aft cabin has plenty of storage throughout. You step up into the salon feature a full sized chase lounge sofa with recliner to port and a full galley to starboard. Immediately to your right are stairs leading to the top deck, a combination microwave - convection oven and a full size double sink with spraying head faucet. There is ample cabinet space and a 120V refrigerator - freezer combo. Just forward of that is a lift away counter with a 2 burner hot plate and the lower controls. You step down into the forward cabin which has ample storage to starboard and a second queen size Tempurpedic bed to port with plenty of storage space bellow. There is a new forward cushion to complete the v-birth. Mechanically the boat is sound, the twin 454 motors are newer and both run great and have been regularly serviced. There are two reverse cycel A - C heat units, one is new and both work great with automatic controls. The battery charger - maintainer is new and keeps the 3 house batteries and 1 starting battery charged easily. The interior of the boat is all hardwood and vinyl and has been recently updated and looks great! The exterior is heavily oxidized but is not cracking or damaged. The top deck is very spacious and has a bimini top for half of the deck. The hydraulic steering works great and the zincs were just changed.
