The Mainship 39 Express (called the Mainship 39 Open in 1989-91) was considered a rakish design when she was introduced back in 1989. Built on a low-deadrise, modified-V hull, the wide beam of the 39 Express allows for some very spacious accommodations. Indeed, there's seating for a small crowd in the single level cockpit which includes a large sun lounge and wraparound bench seating at the transom. (Note that the helm position is to port rather than to starboard as it is in most boats.) Belowdecks, the spacious cabin contains two staterooms, a full-size galley, and a large head with a separate stall shower. Additional features include a unique bi-level transom design, twin foredeck sunpads and side exhaust.
Freshwater use only vessel featuring Twin 502-cid Crusader Gas Engine's. Notable features include but are not limited to the following: Two TVs, Stereo System. Air-Conditioning & Heat, Sleeping Accommodations for Six, Head (Electric Flush) w - Vanity - Sink - Separate Shower, Central Vacuum, Cockpit Wet Bar, Forward Deck Sun Pad's, Generator, Powered Windlass Anchor System and MUCH more.
This vessel was surveyed in 2011 and was valued at over $95,000. The interior seating was just replaced with a two-tone (Black and Gray) color scheme that compliments the modern-contemporary interior design. You will find NO MAUVE, PINK, TURQUOISE or any of the other incredibly ugly colors that boat manufacturers typically use. I dont know where these people come up with this crap, but it sure is that Crap!
The beam on this vessel is an astounding 14.1ft! This extremely wide beam, in addition to allowing an incredibly spacious interior, opens up one of the largest outdoor seating areas you will find on any vessel. Shes wider than the Sea Rays or Silvertons, which are really nice, but can set you back well north of $100,000. With the cabins and galley taking full advantage of the wide beam, the sidedecks are pretty narrow, but passable.
The low deadrise allows for true cruising. Other comparable vessels cruise at about 15kts, while this one will top out around 30kts, while 21-23kts represents best economy cruise. It will jump up on the plane and run solid like a wake boat, albeit a damned near 40 foot wake boat, allowing you to have fun. Close-quarter maneuvering is a breeze too, actually easier than most boats, allowing you to tie up with others out on the water for the real partying. Its the sort of vessel that naturally draws attention, so if tying up with others out in the party coves is your thing, get ready to be in the center of it all.

The canvas has been remover and taken to a canvas shop for resewing and new zippers checked.
The table top has 2 new coats of polyurethane and will get 2 more.
Cabin cleaning is almost complete, one more day will give the whole interior a total wipe down.
I have a 2.5HP Yamaha that will be put in with the deal.
All cushions have bee removed and are being cleaned, the 2 biggest with get new fabric after the foam is cleaned.
Cockpit cushions with be cleaned as the whole cockpit is cleaned after canvas is reinstalled. Upper steering and console have been set on platform to give the full effect of the station.
Update: 11 - 24 - 17 Cleaning moving very well, should finish in a day or two.
Electrical 'Open Ground' noted on survey has been corrected by plugging boat into 120vac outlet, not using the Honda Generator.
Cleaning has started, buy now and stop me from spending your money on cleanup and hull polishing. Great sound boat, I took her from Tampa to Annapolis then Albany to Syracuse before it was trucked back to here. Single diesel engine, large 'V' berth, full head, 2 burner electric cooktop.

| The Mainship 34 Pilot is an enlarged version of the hugely popular Mainship 30 Pilot, a stylish Downeast cruiser introduced by
Mainship in 1998. Where the 30 is essentially a dayboat, the larger interior of the 34 provides the volume required for extended cruising.The first 34 Pilots were express models; in 2001 the Sedanversionwith an extended hardtopcame out, offering owners the added security of a semi-enclosed pilothouse. Well-appointed
accommodations consist a roomy main salon with galley and convertible
dinette, enclosed head with shower, and a single stateroom forward with bi-fold privacy door. In the cockpit, facing bench seats
behind the helm and companion seats can double as extra berths.
A centerline hatch in the cockpit provides access to the engine.
Additional features include a standard bow thruster, tilt-away helm,
transom door, and wide side decks. The 34 rides on a semi-displacement
hull with moderate beam and a long, prop-protecting
keel. The single 350hp Yanmar diesel will cruise the 34 Pilot at 14
knots and reach a top speed
