| 1955 Lyman. Great boat loved the memories. Bought it for my wedding and had it restored. New fuel tank last year, rebuilt carburetor, new fuel filter. The engine runs great, I decided not to paint it, but it runs great. Otherwise is completely original. It is a wooden boat so know what it is. Don't really want to let it go but need something more family friendly. Ran in the ocean for the last two owners and have not found any softness. The 20′ Lyman is very rare. The 18 footers were common back in the 50s but they only made a few of the 20s. Comes with trailer which had axels and tires replaced 2 years ago.. Located in New Castle New Hampshire. |

| I purchased this boat from (only) its second owner near Lake Erie in July 2013 and brought it by flat bed truck to East Boothbay, Maine.
In 2014, the boat was refurbished and repowered (Gray Marine engine replaced with a rebuilt 225 HP Chrysler Marine engine) by Mike Mayne of Edgecomb Boatworks.
Since then, the boat has been professionally maintained and stored inside at Ocean Point Marina before being moved to Gamage Shipyard in South Bristol in 2018.
Structurally the boat is in very good condition (hull painted in 2018; bottom painted in 2019).
Mechanically, as noted, the engine was replaced in 2014 and the boat has been used about 10 days each summer since that time.
Among other work, the carburetor and water pump were replaced in 2019; the drive shaft, cutlass bearing, and prop were replaced in 2020.
Cosmetically, the boat requires some brightwork.
The boat will be on my mooring in East Boothbay until mid-October.

The boat comes with a Garmin chart plotter, VHF, bimini (2 years old), stern cover, a full mooring cover (see photo #1), bumpers, swim ladder, anchor, lines, cushions, and life preservers.. Located in South Bristol Maine. |

| 20 Lyman 1961 - 2014
An eye catcher in excellent condition. Very seaworthy craft.
Professionally restored by Wood Master Marine in Ohio specializing in expert restorations of Lyman wood boats. The boat has a new stem, knee, ribs, bottom planking, and a Philippine Mahogany transom. Interior bottom was painted during restoration. All decks, seats, engine box, bulwark and interior wood planks were sanded to bare wood and stained. The decks have eight coats and the interior has four coats of marine varnish. New white flooring was installed.
The boat was taken to The Wooden Runabout Co. in Holland, Michigan where the exterior hull was sanded and three coats of polyurethane applied. New throttle and shift cables were installed. The boat was tested in open water for proper plaining angle and the engine for cruising at 25mph and full rpm at 36 mph. The engine is a 170H.P. Crusader Interceptor and was rebuilt in 1996. The engine has 320 hours after rebuild. There is a 38 gallon gas tank. The boat has been rewired and has a new generator and voltage regulator.
The boat is equipped with oversize mooring lines, four air fenders with cleats, air horn, fire extinguisher, life jackets, custom mooring cover, convertible top , ventilating windows, deck hatch, bilge pump, blower, custom cushions, bow Lyman burgee and ensign stern flags with covers, new battery and boat hook. The original spot light and a teak swim platform come with the boat but are not mounted.
A 1992 Loadmaster tandem trailer, recently painted, comes with the boat. It has a new front axle with electronic break system, buddy bearings, pvc boat guides, a new two speed winch with brake and spare tire.
The boat has been extensively restored by professionals and an experienced owner. No expense was spared. The boat, engine and trailer are in excellent condition, trouble free and ready for the water. Take it out for a TEST RIDE and see for yourself.
