Dreamer boasts a 7.5' beam and deep vee hull, making it slice right through a wake or wave. With its 502 fuel injected Crusader inboard engine, there is no lack of power. Very low hours. It is made of solid mahogany and finished with a smooth gloss. She has kept up with regular maintenance, both inside and out. The only reason I am parting with her is that I moved to Florida and she has a fresh water engine. We haven't used Dreamer for two years and it is time to find her a new home. The white leather U-shaped seating with optional table inserted in the floor makes a cozy yet spacious seating for up to 8-10 guests, plus the captain's and mate's seat is split, so that everyone can mingle. The small cuddy is just big enough to hold life jackets, etc. and has a removable cushion hiding the porta-potty. Throw the anchor and enjoy sun bathing on the leather cushion on the rear deck, or take the kids for a tube ride with the "O" ring mounted mid-boat. There is a mahogany swim platform and ladder to easily climb in from the water. Dreamer is housed in a private condo boathouse on Lake Winnipesaukee. Our slip is equipped with a boat lift, and is also for sale and can be purchased for an additional $90,000. This Captain-maintained 1993 Hacker Craft 24' is a triple cockpit faithful reproduction of a classic runabout that the company built back in the 1940's. She is on her third owner and has been pampered, used only as a special events charter vessel during the past four years. She has graceful traditional lines and has all the model technology to make her an easy boat to own. Her Crusader 454 XL will cruise comfortably at approximately 25-27 knots at an effortless 2500 RPM. She always grabs the attention of knowledgeable mariners and enthusiasts of fine works of art. There are very few boats like her on the water. The boat was retrofit with new mahogany frames and a new triple planked bottom by the Hacker factory. Each layer was sealed with West System, making her a trailerable wooden boat. During the same yard period, the entire interior was replaced with original Hacker green upholstery. She sits on a custom tandem trailer with brakes and has a full bow to stern mooring cover. She is meticulously maintained and stored inside in the off-season.
