| 1988 formula 30' sr-1 speed boat. If you want to be the king of the lake, this is the boat for you. You will never see another boat like this one that looks like a $100,000 dollar boat for this type of deal. our loss is your major gain! this boat has literally been completely gone through, the motors have been refreshed and piped up to deliver great reliability and more than stock power. the boat has 500 - - hours, but i need to double check to make sure. only about 100hours on new rebuilt motors. the motors have a mild after market cam, and carb enhancements, with some chrome bolt on parts to the motors that really stand out when you lift the engine hatch up. the motors are now pushing out around 350 hp per motor (330 stock). these motors are built to last and built to be reliable, it also has been serviced every year regardless of usage, and new water pumps were installed. has new batteries as well. the drives are bravo ones with aftermarket speedmaster lower units. and stainless steel props. this boat has been completely gone through, and there is no exaggeration to how well this boat has been re finished, it will really show to you how amazing the work has been done to this boat when you see it in person, its light years ahead of its time. and is very apparent that this boat has no cut corners and was done the correct way. it has a custom gel coat job to it. you can see the flames in the gel and the entire boat has been re gel coated to have this custom look. there are no marks or scratches or blemishes in the gel. you will be shocked when you put your hand on it. the interior has been completely re done as well, all new formations foam, and custom vinyl. parts of the interior have the carbon fiber looking vinyl and its really hot looking. the cabin has been re finished as well, all new carpet, and it has the common amenities that a boat has, sink, toilet etc etc. the boat has a giant swim platform that the boats exhaust goes through in a custom way and not only does it sound amazing, its really cool looking. also has 2 very nice covers, one being a cock pit cover, and a full cover for the entire boat. it does come with a clear titled load-rite trailer. its an aluminum trailer that the tires and brakes as well as lights are all new, and has never been in salt water. mainly lakes in co, loto, and havasu! alpine stereo that is very nice, and gps radios, ship to shore, full array of guages that all work. this boat also has aftermarket huge k-planes that really smooth out the ride in crazy ruff lake of the ozark water. this boat is just simply amazing, its absolutely one of a incredible kind. no other boat exists like this one i promise you that. the ride at 75mph speed is simply remarkable. i am forgetting so much about this so please i encourage you to call me with any interest or questions, ill be happy to tell you about this boat. my cell number which you can call or text me at is 303-818-3618 call - text - leave voicemail anytime, or email.. For a high performance boat shes pretty roomy down below. She offers a good-size V-berth and twin UltraLeather lounge seats. Theres a hanging locker and plenty of stowage areas as well.
In case you are not familiar with the FasTech, she is sleek, sharp-edged, and delivers high-end performance thanks to her FASTech hull configuration which helps increase speed and stability from a conventional deep-V hull. The 24-degree deadrise also gives the 292 the best possible ride in a nasty chop.
Starting aft and working our way forward you will find the engines to be easily accessible through a motorized lift hatch. The MerCruiser twin 300-hp, 350 MAG MPI engines mated to Bravo one drives will provide speeds to 70 mph. The engine room also has courtesy lighting, remote oil filters, and active and passive galvanic corrosion protection systems. Theres good lighting in the engine room and plenty of room to change filters and fluids. These engines have only 166 hours and have always had synthetic oil.
The 292 has seating for 6 people in the cockpit with two in McLeod electric-assist bolster seats and four along the aft benchseat. Because of the performance this 292 is designed for, you need those body-grabbing seats theyre adjusted electrically, and have dual-position footrests. Behind the aft lounge seat theres a huge sun pad big enough for two adults to comfortably suntan.
The helm features Gaffrig Redline backlit instrumentation, domed with polished aluminum bezels, Gaffrig shifters - throttles, and a Dino steering wheel with tilt helm. The helm also has fingertip trim override switches, safety ignition stop switches with tethers, a digital depth sounder, Magellan FX 324 color plotter and stereo remote.
This 292 FASTech is a good-looking high performance boat with overnighting accommodations for two adults. Down below the 292 offers an UltraLeather lounge, a portable head unit which has never been used, entertainment center with stainless sink, and Kenwood AM - FM CD stereo.
The 292 FASTech is fast, and an overall exciting high-performance boat. Shes will take you by surprise with her good looks, accommodations, and awesome ride.
Top speed is 70.0 MPH burning 44.4 gallons per hour.
Best cruise is 34.4 MPH and the boat gets 2.12 miles per gallon (MPG) , giving the boat a cruising range of 216 miles.
These FasTech s are built to handle all that you can put them through. Formula designed its own custom triaxial fiberglass which reinforces strength and rigidity. One hundred percent Ashland AME 5000 resin is then applied throughout the lamination process with special coring in the hull, side, and deck for added structural integrity. A fiberglass structural grid is then bonded to the hull to withstand rough offshore conditions. Formula also adds pultrusion reinforcements and fiberglass supports, to the hull for added strength where needed most, usually under the engines and fuel tank.
Other features: Latham tie bar on drives, fresh water shower on platform, 4 blade stainless props, fold down swim ladder, twin ram trim tabs. NO sign of rust or corrosion anywhere.

This PC is a very fast and roomy boat, both in the cockpit and lounge area and the cabin. In the cockpit there is a walkthrough transom door that leads into a good size wrap around u shaped seating aft, a single lounge to port and a double helm seat that may even fit three the cockpit has a sink and a fold out aft seat The radar arch gives it style and function as it helps break up the forward and aft bimini top. There are also molded, non-skid steps that allow you to the deck via a walkthrough windshield. Inside the cabin and down a few steps is galley to port, enclosed head to starboard, a mid cabin tucked underneath the helm and a large wraparound lounge that has a dinette table or will come down and make into a large and comfortable bed allowing this boat to sleep four (4) comfortably.
