At some time in the past someone painted it from the water line up, this paint is faded out and need to be repainted.
It was always a red boat with white stripe. I also have the org. windsheld it came with, a big $200 extra back in 67.
Hull, deak and stringers are rock solid. If you know about Donzi you will know that 1966-69 boats were the best ever made.
It was a 289 ford with Volvo 270 drive, now has a Volvo 275 that was reworked for a 400hp motor.
Motor was a "new" crate motor from Crusader Marine Engines. I installed Aluminum oil pan, twin remote oil filters, 10qt oil system, Edelbrock Torker II intake manifold, Custom built Holly carb, Nicson aluminum exhaust system, Mallory Comp 9000 distributor, MSD AL6 box, closed cooling system, high speed water pickup with johnson pump, new fuel tank with manuel & electric gauge, new hydraulic steering system.
Motor is out now and needs 200 repair before it can be reinstalled. I had about 20 hours on it before I pulled it to install a bigger cam, after I found one cylinders oil ring failed and since then I have not had the time to fix or use it.
