| The interior of the boat looks even prettier than in the photos and is in brand-new-looking condition. Very attractive.
This is an extremely profitable fix and flip project for a do-it-himself type of mechanical person willing to fix the engines. One of the engines doesn't start and the other starts but has issues. The engines can be rebuilt or fixed for between $10,000 to $20,000, then the boat would be worth $85,000-$90,000.
The right kind of mechanical person should be able to fix the engines in 3 to 4 weeks, I've been told. The steering system also needs lubricating.
A recent survey is available, but Ive done fixes after it, I can tell and show in person.
Once the boat is fixed, it can also be a great Airbnb and - or charter business for the right kind of mechanical person willing to fix and maintain a boat. On the Airbnb link above, please see the great reviews I've gotten from Airbnb guests during the short time I've owned this boat, everyone whos stayed on it loved it. I was able to rent its cabin (cabin only, no chartering) for $125 a night, after about 20 reviews, I was planning on upping the nightly rate to $200 a night. If you'd like to use the boat for Airbnb after fixing the engines, I can provide useful guidance and free instructions as an experienced vacation rental manager.
The quaint Emerald Coast Marina where the boat is currently docked allows living in a boat, so the right person who can fix or rebuild the engines can live in the boat while he works on it. Or the boat may have to be dry docked while the engines are repaired and then you can live on it.
Or this can be a luxury mini-yacht for the family of the person willing to have the engines fixed. Its so beautiful and everything inside works perfectly for long-time fishing or cruising trips on the sea! Your wife and kids would fall in love with this boat once you fix the engines.

A scaled-down version of the companys 4270 Esprit (19982003), whats notable about the floorplan of the 3870 is her unique amidships stateroom with its standup dressing area, built-in TV, and a private head with shower. The wide-open salon includes a convertible sofa - dinette and a full-service galley with all the amenities. A draw curtain separates the forward island berth from the main cabin, while a bulkhead door insures privacy in the aft stateroom. Notably, the main head contains a separate stall shower.
