| I am putting up for sale my 2004 Cougar 23MTR. The engines are 2008 250XS’s with only 31 hrs on them. They were registered in March of 2008 so you still have almost 2 years left on warranty. Boat will run over 100mph! I am currently running 15X32 3 blade cleavers with the engines buried in the water. They can come up probably 2 inches or more. The way it is set up right now will run 96-97 all day at 5,800 rpm. I know I would never be the fastest boat out their, but the way I have it set up, I will always be boating! Boat is in EXCELLENT shape. When I purchased it; I was told the hull is the last 23 MTR that the original cougar made in Canada. This boat needs absolutely nothing! It is a true TURN KEY boat. The hull only has 55.5 hrs on it. Boat also comes with a cockpit cover and full cover. I will not trade, or separate hull and engines. This boat has been meticulously maintained and better than well cared for. Also trailer has all new wheel bearings and brakes. Feel free call me up to 10pm West Coast time with any questions. This boat is 27’3 long and 8’6 wide with a custom cougar triple axle color matched trailer.
Powered by 2 Merc Racing 300X outboards with 1.62:1 ratio this 1760 lb boat does a zero-fifteen second speed of 65 mph, comes to a plane in 3.7 seconds, 30-60 mph in 5.6 seconds, 40-70 mph in 7.5 seconds, with a as tested top speed of 98.7 mph at 6500 rpm. All test drivers as well as personal experience verify over 100 mph speeds on cooler drier conditions.
This is one of the last original Cougar Boats from the original builder in Salmon Arm BC Canada and it shows. From the balsa cored flooring with layers of fiberglass matting for strengthening to the finest finishing and installation in the industry still to this day, this boat is second to none.

| This boat is in excellent original condition. It has a full Sunbrella mooring cover and seperate engine cover. There is a hydraulic jack plate with approx. 8" of setback that needs new hydraulic cylinders. In 2012 the motor was serviced and received a new stator, lower unit was pressure tested and resealed and was looked over by a certified Mercury mechanic. There are 2 stainless props included, one with through the hub exhaust and one with over the hub exhaust. The Cougar trailer is rock solid but could use new paint, tires, wheels and suspension are great. Replacement cost today for the package would be approx. $40,000.
